School meals

The school has its meals delivered fresh from The Community College Bishops Castle every day. For KS2 and nursery children the cost of a meal is £2.50. Parents may pay daily, weekly or termly in advance. We use an online payment method called School Money.

Free school meals

All children who are in reception, year 1 or year 2 will be offered a free healthy school lunch. Children in other school years will also be offered a free school lunch if their parents are receiving some welfare benefits which makes them eligible for extra help through Pupil Premium. Please contact the school office for more information.

Packed lunch

A packed lunch can be eaten in the dining hall. No glass bottles or fizzy drinks should be sent to school.

Healthy eating

Under the government’s Fruit Scheme children in reception and years 1 and 2 receive a free piece of fruit each day at morning break. Older children are encouraged to bring in a healthy snack for break times. Healthy eating is promoted within the school.
