St Mary’s is a Church of England (voluntary aided), co-educational school which caters for children between the ages of 2 and 11 years. Our school has close links with our parish church and the church community. Together we foster a caring and supportive family atmosphere based on the values and principles of the Christian faith.
The teaching staff are experienced. They personalise the learning activities and create exciting educational experiences for the children. Our expectations and standards are high.
We're a very happy and purposeful school where children are encouraged to grow, explore and be part of a vibrant community. At the heart of our school is the belief that each child is unique and has special talents which should be nurtured. Each child should be given opportunities to succeed through appropriate support and challenge.
We have fantastic children at St Mary’s, and we provide a happy and secure environment where they're able to thrive.
Bucknell is a close-knit community, and we value our relationship with parents and know that it's a team effort to nurture children and support their development. Whilst your child is attending St Mary’s, we're always available to discuss any worries you may have about their learning and progress and to celebrate their successes with you.
To visit the school, please get in touch with the school office and the administrator Mrs Ray will be happy to help you. Being a member of a school community can be exciting and rewarding for both child and parent.
One of our other schools in our close-knit Federation, Newcastle C of E Primary School, also offers Flexi Learning. If this is something of interest, please do visit the website.
We look forward to working with you as part of our community.
With best wishes,
Rach Braybrooke
