On Monday, we had an exciting and informative online, interactive lesson, presented by the Jorvik Viking Museum in York. We learnt many things about Viking raids and weapons including:
- The different weapons Vikings used;
- Why Vikings came to Britain?;
- The ages children were when they learnt new skills and rites;
- How Vikings used their weapons;
- Why Vikings were incorrectly depicted as wearing horns;
- Why swords were so expensive!
