Clunbury Primary is a Church of England voluntary aided school with close ties to St Swithun’s Church in Clunbury. We aim to preserve and develop the religious character of the school in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and to serve our local communities by providing an education of the highest quality. We encourage an understanding of the meaning of faith, and promote Christian values through the experiences we offer to our children.
We work closely with St Swithun's Church throughout the year. The school holds Harvest, Remembrance, Christmas, Easter and Leaver's Services within the church. We provide regular displays relating to time of year within the Christian Calendar and annually take part in 'Carol's around the Yew Tree'. The school also regularly visits the Church to learn about their local place of worship.
