Meals

We have a mid-morning break from 10.30am to 10.50am.  All children in Preschool, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive free fruit and are offered milk before going out to play.  Children can also bring a healthy snack to eat at break time.  Due to concerns about allergies we would ask that no peanut butter or nuts or sesame seeds are in packed lunches/ snacks.

There is a cafeteria system in operation at lunchtime with a choice of meals run by our fantastic Dining Supervisor, Miss Lel Evans. Our delicious fresh food is delivered to our door each day by Bedstone College. Please let us know if your child is a vegetarian, vegan or has a food allergy so that we can ensure all dietary requirements are catered for.

School lunches cost £2.50.  All pupils in reception, year 1 and year 2 in state-funded schools in England are eligible for free school meals (FSMs).

If you're in receipt of income support, income-based jobseekers allowance or child tax credit (with an annual income as assessed by the Inland Revenue) your child will be entitled to free meals. In this case please ask for a form on which to apply. Your request will be treated in confidence.  Please speak to Mrs Ray in the office who will be able to support you with your application.

Children may bring a healthy packed lunch if they prefer to eat in the hall at the same time as the school meals are served. Please send drinks (water only) in a plastic container and ensure that lunches do not contain peanut butter, sesame seeds or nuts.
