We are thrilled to announce that St Mary's has won the Reading for Pleasure Award for a second year running! Nominated for the award by local author, Catherine Cooper, Key Stage Two won a fantastic virtual workshop in which they were shown Catherine's new book cover (hot off the press and unseen as yet by the general public!) as well as a selection of minute objects created to inspire her to write the next Jack Brenin book. Catherine has set the children of St Mary's a new challenge and competition: to impress her with their creative writing. All entries will be judged by her and her husband.
