Class 3 had a really informative trip to Shrewsbury prison this week. The prison was established in 1793 and closed in 2013 therefore the children were able to get a good grasp of how punishments have changed over the years. The prison guide was fantastic and answered so many of our questions. Quiet was restored while the children shut themselves in the cells for a few minutes and Oliver enjoyed his time in the pillory!
