Class 2 enjoyed a fantastic day at Clun. We were met by Steve, a river ranger, who spoke to everyone about river safety before showing us how to gather a river sample and identify the creatures that we were able to spot. We also played directional games, used OS maps to identify local landmarks and drew our own sketch maps using skills we had learnt within our Geography work. Before heading back to school, we went for a closer look at Clun Castle and learnt a little bit about its history. It was a wonderful day, enjoyed by everyone!
