Religious Education is given high priority within our school and forms part of our core curriculum. As a Church of England school, we follow the Shropshire agreed syllabus and Understanding Christianity scheme of work, which allows children to learn about Christianity in depth. Through learning about other religions and faiths they are able to navigate our diverse world. We believe that Religious Education (RE) plays an important role in defining our school’s distinctive Christian character. Through our RE coverage, pupils will foster an accurate and increasing understanding of world religions and views. Religious education within our federation strives to enable every child to flourish, appreciate the faith of others and develop a deeper understanding of their own beliefs and practices.
